I've enjoyed your channel for a while, Casey, BMack, Eric & Logan. I recently "found" the Born and Raised Outdoors guys thru your 2018 hunting series and enjoy theirs too (Land of the Free 1.0 and 2.0). As a kid, we would fish in the lakes that we or our family members had cabins on in Saskatchewan and I really enjoyed it, from digging up worms to trolling in the boat or casting from our dock or shore. There is just something about being on water that resets my priorities and makes me happy. I had a spine/spinal cord injury about 8+ yrs ago. I had always promised myself that when my daughter graduated high school (she did in 2018) that I was going to go on a big fishing trip and maybe even take up hunting. So now that these adventures are out of reach for me, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Having said all this, I am not familiar with Steelheads. Couple of questions for you (or anyone who can answer)… what does it mean when you guys said "not a clipper" and "no that's a native fish", and lastly I was thinking that they looked like rainbow trouts with their coloration, but when you cut into it, it looked like salmon meat. Can you tell me if it is a salmon or a trout? I tried to ask "Dr Google" and am more confused than when I looked it up, haha. Looks like a great time was had, which is what it is all about. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures. Heather🇨🇦

Pro tip #837, hold the net along the pole and simultaneously let go as you scoop up your fish! If the net hits the water first, theres a good chance it'll spook the fish and cause it to run again. I learned that working on a charter boat in Kodiak, Alaska so you know it's a legit pro tip! Sweet series, guys, keep up the good work!

One of the coolest things about hunting and fishing is that you get to experience the hills and valleys… you go through the work, the slow times, rough conditions, etc. only to be followed by seeing that bobber sink or that buck step out. You truly get to experience all emotions. I think it’s rare that an activity can provide all of that! What an awesome video! Keep it up y’all!
