Just wanted to say this was one of the best videos on how to approach Pennsylvania lakes! The only downfall of the whole video you have your Thoughts on structure and cover backwards. You referred to the laydowns and deadfalls, Weed beds, docks as structure. All of those are considered cover when structure refers to changes in the bottom contour of the lake. I have Fished This lake for over 35 years and by far your video is the best when it comes to information wise. Would love to someday run into you on the lake and fish together keep up the great work

R there any good spots for hybrid striper from the shore during the day? I’ve only caught 1 big one near the bridge at Shannon run but other than that I’ve had no luck.

Lots of great insights. Thanks much Ryan. Started kayak fishing this year, for bass or crappie. Just trying to find the optimum launch point to max our time on the water. Again, thanks for offering your expertise.

Thanks for doing these videos. I just found it this year, but you're right about the fishing pressure. Its crazy. Another thing I found crazy was catching small mouth on lake arthur. I was in about 18 feet of water, and initially thought it was a striper. It ended up being a 22.5" Smallie.

My dad and I just got a small boat and we plan on doing most of our fishing at Arthur. This video is exactly what we needed. Thank you! Any tips for pike you might have would be much appreciated. I’m hoping to check that one off the list this year.

@RyanRead…do you do any catfishing? Not from the area, but I'm looking for some spots from the banks of Lake Arthur to catch some channels this time of year.

I could be wrong, but I think the marinas are now off limits to fishing. Or at least a couple of them. Does anyone know for sure? I believe it is illegal to fish in a marina in a state park, which some of these marinas are in, and some are not.

Great video! I'm planning to head up to the lake this weekend (early May) with a kayak. Where would you launch for a little bit of action without a ton of paddling? I was thinking either Nealey's Point or one of the State Park launches across the lake (Pleasant Valley or Bear Run).

IM UP MORAINE ALL THE TIME, JUST STARTED TO GET INTO MUSKIE FISHING. SO IN THE SPRING WHICH END OF THE LAKE DO U PREFER, THE NORTHERN OR DOWN PAST 528 FOR MUSKIE?

Do you think a senko would do well here? What are THE BEST spots for bank fishing in your opinion. North park lake is my main lake and compared to this lake north park is like a small puddle compared to this monstrosity…

Well it looks like I have a better map then I thought. Had to change seeing in my chat options. But nothing adds detailed as yours. I did see the downloads from the state and snapped some pictures but not sure if i can convert that pdf for the unit to read it? Any help would be great.
