I am just learning. Tying flies. Been fishing 2x. Now I have a new beautiful rod and waders and "I'VE GOT NOTHIN BUT FISH TO CATCH!" Ozark Riverways are just down the way. Happy. Happy. Happy.
I fish mostly using a spinning reel. I hate using a baitcaster because, spaghetti. This looks really fun and difficult at the same time. I'd still try it though.
Im having trouble with not hitting the fly on the water behind me but I also don’t have a big area to cast is it just timing or just technique in general
Something about the fly rods just makes them look so cool and aesthetic, lol. It just feels premium.

Helps an enormous amount to look over your shoulder and see the the line is about to stop, that way you can get the timing down.
Want to do this right? Traditionally?
A bottle of the good stuff in the armpit. You'll learn or you'll mourn.
Thank ❤❤❤
