You are a very talented young fly tier. Its awesome how you share your talents and i have learned a lot from your videos. Do you ever take a breath ? Anyways, i do really like your video's i just turn off the sound. Thanks for sharing your talents and amazing skills with us.
Thanks for posting a video with a smaller streamer. I'm a trout fisherman that mainly fishes with 4-weight kits, sometimes 5, and I could throw this (line taper and head-length permitting) with both.
Nice fly Gunnar. I have some chicken feathers I think I can use for that. The price was right. If Schultzy doesn't have any pheasant rump I'll be sending you an order.
I really like how you use the mono thread to your advantage to lash down the eyes. I have a whole drawer full of these flat adhesive eyes. The glue loses some of itβs adhesive properties over the years, and lashing them down never came to mind. Iβm going to make some of these flies for catching Minnesota crappies. Also have lots of pheasant. Keep it up, glad to see working an under utilized natural material like pheasant.

Gunner can this be made in the 5 – 6 inch range
7 Minutes Bla, bla, bla……..
You make this difficult sucker look easy1
I'm new to tying , i enjoyed your seminar , can dumbbell eyes also be used or would it interfere with the feathers action.
I like to tie flies that look like this with craft fur in a dubbing loop.

Awesome video, definitely going to give this a try! Cheers
Nice job
Very nice, I think I'm gonna sit down after work tonight and tie a few. I need to use up the rump on my pheasant skin anyway.
Kudos Gunnar nice Job , how do you like your HmH vise
Hi Gunnar, you are tying in the tail feathers "curving in" I think the deceiver had them curving out. Any reason for that ? Regards Florian
Great looking fly as always gunner, tight lines.
What vice are y using?
