Just spent 2 days on the Soca and a super secret spot. I caught my first marble trout. Slo-fly is one of the most professional guide outfits I have ever worked with. I will be back (some day).
These rivers are buityfull but has become a put & take water. So many fishermen the locals are started to herrass the fishermens. Was there on vacation with my wife and two children and we had to stop fishing there because the locals throwed rocks at my children, wife and me while we were fishing. I cannot recccomend people going there.
i have been fortunate to fish rivers in Slovenia due to my parents originating from there i have fished new Zealand also .its like a dream in both .now live in Australia and nothing even close here for trout fly fishing .well its still in my dreams .perhaps one day ill follow the rainbow again
I seriously thought that water like that only existed in New Zealand. That is absolutely gorgeous and serine. I'd give so much just fish there for a few days, and all those trout seem like beautiful wild/native marble trout. You just can't find anything that amazing in the United States, not enough people care here. I'm moving to Canada the first chance I get to go somewhere that nature is respected.
Fuck now you got me depressed because I realized in what a shitty place do I live in compared to this wonderland. I mean it looks like some surreal dream land. Amazing job !
