so the rooster tail is what im going to be using since I have a short notice fishing trip, I don't have a fly rod and reel yet but It sounds like great fun im going to have to try it some time but in other hands the roosater tail is what I am going to be using to catch rainbow
I got everything there except for the fly fishing rod and lures, to expensive. I use a normal rod with 6 pound test. Yes I have hip weighters they help a lot but the vest is to heavy. I'd rather use a fishing backpack, but thanks for the tips. Good luck with your trout fishing!
I have noticed with the vest that I end up with too much stuff in it. All the weight in front really sucks. it is easier to get to some things but anymore I just use a camo backpack. it makes for a much more comfortable day which ultimately leads to catching more fish. so if ur like me and you can't help but to carry way too much stuff get a backpack. best ones snap around waist and chest.
a bubble and a fly, if you cant catch a trout with that well youll go hungry
