Great video! I always take my time making up my leaders. Never had a break on leader to fly line loop or the point fly or even when adding a smaller length of thinner fluorcarbon for smaller flies. , but always get broken at the dropper knot.! Its very frustrating.

Make that presentation in a swimming pool so we can all see the performance of the presentation cause no matter how much people try to explain how something move inside the water is never going to be clear to anyone other than fly line industry š¤

Hi Calum, I have two questions about the ultra yarn indicator fly you tied in a recent video, how buoyant is it and would it be enough to use as a point fly on a washing line set up instead of a FAB or booby pattern? I normally fish 2 resin buzzers #10 & # 12. Also used instead of a bung, how do you adjust depth?

What % of fish take the booby rather than the droppers ?,for me it is over 90%.
Cracking video but video makers never show or mention how many time's you're droppers gets tangled around your leader line and how to avoid it …
