Fantastic! Covered some things that I didn't even know I was missing out on. That was the best 15 minutes of my fly-fishing education. Must get streamers.
These videos have to be some of the most educational videos on YouTube. I haven't found anything else with such simple, easy to understand instruction and detail! I've been fly/spey fishing now for almost 3 yrs, multiple days a week, and I wish I would have found these videos sooner! Would have saved me a lot of trial and error😂😂😂😂👍. Def whatching evey single one.
I’ve just started fly fishing I’m still confused on how long my fly line should be attached to my leader. I’m fishing for mostly native trout in a small creek. Help would be appreciated!
I'm new to fly fishing and just purchased around a $200 combo TFO rod and real. I have floating line on. But I would like to know is there a quick way to swap your line out with sinking line for streamer fishing? I never did streamer fishing but sounds like it might be better by your knowledge.
I’ve got a question I know you mad River it’s pretty big into the carp fly fishing I’m not new to fly fishing but recently started carp fishing in bigger creeks I’ve had pretty good luck but what’s the best thing to look for when detecting a bite on a weighted carp fly in dirty water the water im fishing is anywhere from 1-3’ deep and you can’t always see what the carp is doing and the take is so subtle and quick
Thanks for the help through your videos and products I've recently ordered. I've been fly fishing and tying off and on since I was 13 (now 65) when my great uncle took me up to Hat Creek and the Fall River in Northern California where he had fished most of his life. After his and my aunt's passing years ago, I inherited their bamboo rods both hand-made by Winston in San Francisco. To say the least, they are a treasure. Thanks to you guys and persistent local shelter-in-place orders, I'm enjoying a rebirth of tying and will be hitting some favorite locations again when possible. There's a lot of junk on YouTube in regards to fly fishing and tying. Didn't take more than three videos for me to subscribe to your channel as your presentations are professional, intelligently and thoroughly presented, and I take away something new with each topic. Keep up the good work. I'm sure I'll be ordering more stuff. And thanks for bringing me back to life!
Brian has the Entomology series come out yet? (It's 2-16-20 now) I have looked but i couldn't find it so I am thinking no, but I don't want to miss it. I got everything I ordered from you guys super fast and I have hit the water a couple times already, I do believe a new love is developing.
I am finally starting to get back into fly fishing. It’s been about 13 years since I’ve gone but your videos have helped me understand a lot of issues I’ve ran across. I’m looking to buy my first setup this spring. My question is what’s a good rod weight and action to mainly go for trout but still be able to handle some smaller smallmouth bass? I’ve been looking at a 9’ 5 or 6 weight. What would you recommend?
A loyal subscriber to the channel, you had mentioned that there are other channels on YouTube that we should listen to. By any chance could you throw out some of their names my direction. Thank you for all that you are doing for the community.
What are your thoughts on RIO fly clips for fast attachment of new flys ? Im just now getting into fly fishing and want to learn each aspect on its own. Id rather not be trying to swap out a tippet or leader every time I change a fly until I get good at attaching a fly ?

What’s is the best color dry fly? And what is the difference between 5/6wt reel and a 6wt reel?
