Hello, you! Thanks for watching! A few addendums: 1. You can still catch Oarfish, Golden Trout, Loach and Mole Crickets. In the video I point out that these creatures are leaving at the END of May, so this is your last month to catch them… not much point in telling you about fish and bugs that left at the end of April 😀 2. Scorpions act SLIGHTLY differently to Tarantulas… their spawn mechanics are the same, but they don't 'hop' before chasing you, making them a little tougher to catch. lol, have fun!
I remember I had just started my island. I saw a shadow in the sea."oh, is that a fish?" I thought to myself. Went over, threw my rod in and it was an oarfish. I was quite terrified
So, as it turns out you do not need to fish directly off the pier to catch the Mahi Mahi. I was standing on the shore next to the pier and saw a large fish shadow next to the pier (not infront) and caught a Mahi Mahi.
don't know if anyone's already said this but it's actually not that hard to "create" a scorpion island. it's the exact same as "creating" a tarantula island. just need to catch and release water roaches and have some patience and scorpions will appear 🙂 EDIT: if you're still having trouble spawning scorpions it's probably because there's mole crickets around. i just found out about them myself.
Wait… that’s what that sound was??? A mole cricket??? I’ve been so confused every time I walk around my island at night, I thought the cricket was just ambience!!
Great video. I would like to add that scorpions aren’t completely identical to tarantulas. Spawn rate? Yes. But scorpions won’t jump then run at you. They will just sprint towards you without giving you time to react. Unless you tiptoe your way towards it lol
I honestly did not know that the cricket was an actual thing in the game… I literally thought the annoying chirping was just part of the ambient sounds
So, it started raining in my island and i cant stop finding pond skaters. I know they arent rain exclusives, but they definitely spawn more during rain

So I time traveled to get the golden trout, and I accidentally sent to June and caught 2 sharks and two eels lol
Tip for anyone using Alexa: there's a skill called Nook Price Guide which can help you look up the fish and bug prices
It seems like I’ve a lot yet to catch 🤦🏽♀️
having a hard time finding the Mahi-Mahi…I am at the pier and using a LOT of fish bait to coax one out
1:22 LETS GOOOO
Does anybody know what Jambette is going to do to me if I give her a frog? 🙂
Do the bee hives have a function or is it just decoration? I tried to put my wasps in there 🙂

I watched this video kinda late but I must say you have such a great aura to you! You earned a sub for sure can’t wait to catch a livestream!!
I kept finding Scorpions, but they keep disappearing when they leave my screen…

Your voice is great, you have that tone where I feel like I'm watching springwatch but its really just about animal crossing
Best way to catch a bug that spawns on trees: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/gi9dmb/tip_for_any_one_still_having_a_hard_time_getting/
I don’t need to make bells anymore. Got close to $100 million bells.

Goofy isnt a dog. Hes a cow.
I got my mole cricket on accident lmao
yo u can spawn scorpions they start at 7 new waterbugs leave at 7

Your island is lovely 😇 subscribed!
I haven’t been able to catch any rare fish it’s so annoying all I’ve been doing is fishing everyday
Actually mole crickets don't affect spawn rate for tarantulas. That would be Tiger beetles and wharf roaches
That’s actually pretty similar to what rainbow fish look like in real life
"boogs"
Betta is pronounced bay-ta just so you know.
I’ve never caught a mole cricket or even heard of one and everyone keeps talking about them and how annoying they are
So, it started raining in my island and i cant stop finding pond skaters. I know they arent rain exclusives, but they definitely spawn more during rain
