Dude, out of every video I watched this was the most straight forward and simple to implement. I just started fishing at 43 because my 4 year old been asking, thank you sir!
Bought a rod and reel and haven't fished since 1996, when my father passed. Figured, eh, I can do this. Well, I didn't even know how to loosen the "thing" that released the crank so it would turn. Funny how all of this is coming back. Now the license and water. At 55, I feel like a kid…still miss my dad, though, more than 30 years later. Thanks for a simplistic demonstration.

Last time I fished was 15 years ago, and I got my rod confiscated by security at the airport (I was 12 years old like wth). Finally decided to go buy myself a rod and treat myself fishing for my next weekend. Very excited, but now I'm realizing how much I never learned lol
I'M PRETTY SURE OUR MENTOR HERE FORGOT TO MENTION TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING THE CORRECT POUND LINE AND NOT GOING OVER THE LIMIT OF THE REEL ‼️ YOU ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE SPOOL OF YOUR REEL SHOULD TURNING IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE LINE COMING OFF THE FILLER SPOOL ‼️ THAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM THAT CAUSES TANGLES AND BIRD NESTS PLUS NOT KEEPING THE LINE TIGHT WHEN YOU'RE REELING IN YOUR LURE , FLY OR BAIT‼️ IF YOU REMEMBER ALL THIS YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SPINNING REEL ‼️👍🎣
Thanks man. I’m freshly 18 and my dad was never really around in my life so I never learned to fish. It took me a couple hours to get it but yours helped the most
I havent fished since middle school. I'm little confused by the fishing line and spool. My spool is already wound with line, so do I not need to worry about the arbor knot?
This video helped me a tone for getting my hook and line one my new fishing rod because ever other video there hand are in the way and or the video quality tucked or bolth, thanks a tone😁
Man, the would have been useful 39 min ago. I couldn't figure out the knot to spool, so I just used the stickers that came on the line spool. It worked, but it didn't feel right lol

New to all this and while trying to set up a rig yesterday the line kept unravelling from the reel and got all tangled – so frustrating
Trying to relearn at 25 is tons of fun 👍🏻 cant wait to buy so many lures and hooks that I dont know what to do with!! 🤣
