Just replaced guide insert. I have a vice in my shed, but folded over a piece of cardboard several times and gently squeezed the insert into place with a set of mawl grips. Seem secure enough.
The fact people don't do/don't know, how to do this, is crazy to me… I hear/read people complain all the time that their rod was delivered with broken guide inserts, or broke at some point, and then they completely ditch the rod and think its unfixable, or return it, or whatever… It's made apparent to me the amount of people that don't or can't fix their own shit, and just buy new shit instead lmao… consumerism is running rampant.. I mean, I love buying shit too, but if something breaks, I ALWAYS try to fix it before buying a new one LOL I don't understand why people wouldn't do that. Maybe it's from growing up poor and spending a lot of time with my grandparents hahah I dono man…

He enjoys the process, he had an extra eye, rather then stripping off the old epoxy n thread this was a much easier n quicker process. Also for those out there that dont have a shop , this would be a much more efficient n effective way. For crying out loud, leave the negative comments on other videos that deserve it. Simple freez the ring and heat up the eye and ring will slip right into place.

Great idea! the usual way is cut the bonding and place a all new guide, this is much more convenient.

Достаточно просто нагреть кольцо зажигалкой 😂 не надо ничего пилить

Ну вообще то можно было не пилить оправу рамы другого кольца, достаточно было его нагреть термофеном или термо-воздушной паяльной станцией. Удачи.
