In the UK we only need a rod licence for fresh water fishing ie a coarse and trout and a salmon and and sea trout all sea fishing is mainly done with baits like black lug worm squid and prawns and crabs plus the best time for fishing is in winter if you want cod or Whiting you should watch on YouTube how we fish over here

You don't always need a license to fish certain spot in Florida 💰💰💰💸💸💸💸💸. I purchase all my fishing gears used and I fish almost every week

Actually the money we pay for fishing licenses funds more Fish & Game officers so they can be present out there and harass us – truth.
