Friends im a Texas gulf coast transplant whoin my 20s fell in love with.fishing.the flats..i I remember many days watching more lucrative fisherman on boat after another head south…THAT IS while i eased around a few local falts and just slay bothand specksand .the redfish . I consistrntly drug nice stringers and we atr well. Been in North Texas for nerly 40 yeats and literrally ache to.wase the flatd. Getting to where i cant anymore with.degen. arthritis but dont be surprised in heaven where ill be…
I'm going to target radish for the first time while on holidays. I clicked on this video knowing nothing… I leave, feeling like I will catch a redfish when the time comes! Great video!
for the part of the tide, if you see that it's warm plus it's going to be above a 7ft tide, doesn't matter what you're doing, get your ass onto the flats, there should be hundreds, your at a funeral, flats time, bored at work, flats time… don't matter
Good stuff. I think a better comparison for carp are the black drum, simply because reds seem. To be willing to move a lot farther for a fly than carp or black drum.
One thing I tried down in the gulf coast off a paddle board, I was on slick water and suck at casting so I made some little jumps on my board to create ripples and casted into it.
It didn't work, but thanks for reading this far, I also fell off the board
this is an amazing episode thanks broski I love all your dudes explain the redfish super funny!Β Good tips! Question for ya tho I see your running skiffs tiller and console set ups what boats do you prefer tiller our console?

Ben, The HUGE flyfishing pro tips are amazing, but I'm here for the weekly, royalty-free ska and reggae.
do you worsh your hands in the zink after you catch a drum?
Yuuuuuugggggeeeeee
Hey Ben, Are you in CO?
Are Redfish similar to corbina? I've held off asking this because I'm not sure, the more I look into it the more it seems like they are.
LIKE a LOT… Funny stuff great editing
I've been watching these vids for a while. I'm getting huger by the day. Thanks.
Lo-Fi Brewery!! Been there.
Love nothing more than learning about fish and this video delivers as always π
Originally from Maryland? So were you a huge waterfowler before you were a huge flyfisherman?
Uh Ben, I'm sure you've caught a bull on one of Ron's basic bull flies. I'm pretty sure that would be considered a wooly bugger.
Thanks for the HUGE vid
They eat with their mouths not their butts, damn dude thatβs going to improve my catch rate by a million!! Thanks!
