Since when is fowl hooking a fish on accident fishing?? There is literally zero skill involved in this. Do you guys have a little machine that ties your line too?? You should try real fishing. Or you guys should just drag a net. Be much more productive. All those boats wasting gas to accidently catch a fish.
Paddlefish are endangered in Texas. Thatโs like my number one bucket list fish. Very rare to catch in my region. Looks like Iโm taking a guided trip in Oklahoma
Being a fisherman from Calif , I don't understand why You Folks leave the clicker on Your reels . We , Out here only use the clicker if We're setting Our rod down in neutral ! We never fight a fish with the clicker on ! Just seems strange to Me ! I've fished all My life and I'm now 68 yrs old . Just wondered !
I guess I'll be that guy. #1. Love the videos. I always enjoy them. I'm allll about fishing….and even catching and releasing after a hook in the mouth if you aren't keeping the meat…but snagging? A big treble hook punctures the side, or anywhere, of the fish and possibly does some real damage…only to be put back in the water. I ain't gonna cry or lose sleep over it but it just doesn't seem very sporty.
Love it! We go snagging every year here in Missouri. When they release water from the dam and u snag on too a 70, 80 lb mama, man she's gonna give u a fight
And we thought Ling Cod were ugly here on the west coast. You guys win. Kind of a cool looking fish. So thick you can snag them? Snag kiss and release…lol looks like a good time. Do you guys ever eat those? No snagging anything here in the west. It's all up to the fish biting or it's a big ticket if the man catches you. My son, his wife and my brother go fly fishing and ocean fishing…and fishing off the jetty. I like to fish but still working on figuring out how I can manage being unsteady on my feet.
So what kind of fish is this? Not an alligator- gar? Because you guys are touching the long snout….the mouth looks awesome. I am from Washington State- so we donโt have those up here….
how heavy of a weight do you use when trolling? and also how fast are you trying to go to actually hook it? I'm assuming using electric trolling motor wont actually "hook" the fish going that slow?
Um snagging isn't fishing. *Pensacola! Now that's FISHING! Couldn't comment on that video. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing your family. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your garden. (Sorry if my earlier comment was negative. I fell down the stairs and was distracting from my pain watching videos.)
Wow never seen a paddle fish before thanks for taking us fishing with u. Awesome . Really enjoy your vlogs a good variety of many things u and the family enjoy doing๐ ๐๐๐ฃ
Great video! Can't garden all the time, have to have some fun every once in awhile. Enjoy your channel. Now to catch Dutch's perspective on this trip. ๐
Is that the Verdigris River?
My dad would kill for a spoonbill. Iโve watched that old man throw giant tackle all over ok just to be broke off or something. Good catch.
