I’m heading down to Pensacola and wanted to do some fly fishing on the beach so I google fly fishing on the beach and this is the first one! What are the best flies to use?
Loved the video, I subbed! I live in fort pierce and just picked up an orvis encounter 8wt. I caught a snook off the jetty with it and now I'm hooked. Probably make another video with the fly once I can cast a little better. Tight lines!
Freakin great video. I felt like I was there. Beautiful color and softness to communicate what a magical place those panhandle beaches on the Gulf are.
The Fly Shop here in Jax suggested a 9wt for the Sisters Area of the St. John's River. I have been medically out of fishing order for over a year, but doctor says one more month! I can't wait! I am hoping to upgrade my 2011 Outback to a 2017 PA-14 for a better fly fishing platform soon. Love the videos, keep me coming!
Sayin' this with love. Do not talk ever again. Ty should be the only subject. The music was good. The scenery was good. The mood was great. Then y'all talked a ruined the whole vibe. Not knockin' you or your wife. Not haten. This by far is your best vid till y'all talked. .
I never thought about fly fishing on the shore. saw it her details about the rod reel combo but wondered about details on the leader you used and what type fly's would you recommend to try out to start. looks so relaxing to try
look at that old Bayou boy sling that fly…………. nice form. most people learning how to fly fish don't pay attention to the left hand movement and try to fling it back and forth with the right hand.
I have a video that shows logs burning inside a fireplace. Just goes on and on forever. You can do the same thing with this video and make millions. Fishing nuts like me will watch it forever and ever. QUE!
Luv this video. Great change of pace, peaceful and it was like I was there with ya. Great beach noises. My favorite from you so far. Not that I don't like you talking. I felt like I was fishing right beside ya… wish I had of too! Keep up the great videos.
Nice video Ty! I hate catching skipjacks on conventional gear but absolutely love them on a fly (Same with carp). It is odd that I was just reading the fly fishing section of the pensacola fishing forum last night on fly fishing there! I am definitely going to plan a trip for September or October to fish that area.
Is that a 9’or 10 ‘ rod
Fine example of how not to unhook a ladyfish :o(

What weight rod is he using?
Sorry but flyfishing to me is just weird so much physical action just to get a lure out when a spinner or other rod can go in one cast…lol
You should look into a steelhead spey style rod/reel setup. Really great for distance and isn't nearly as hard to figure out as double hauling.
what flies do u suggest
I think the Florida Panhandle is a wonderful place…….look how nice and mild the surf is.
Nice smooth cast! What time of year was this?

I love to fly fish, but for some reason this video did nothing for me. Guess I am used to your faster paced ones.
the camerawoman did an amazing job.
I really enjoyed this style of video. Fly fishing videos could be your Zen style videos.

The Clouser! Nicely done! What a nice night for it
