So glad I found ur channel! I’m in MA, just bought my 1st boat – 20’ dual console in November for ocean fishing (not in the water yet) and this weekend picked up a 9” Garmin EchoMap Plus. I have been learning so much from your videos… I can’t get enough of ‘em and can’t wait to get out there to start experimenting and catching those Stripers!!! You are the best! Thanks and keep ‘em coming!!!

These videos are much better than most anything else you will watch on youtube. They actually give good information rather than just having you watch someone reeling in fish for 20 minutes. Thanks Johnny for sharing so much good information in so many different areas.

I always enjoyed fishing and hunting and in my mid -twenties I moved to Wisconsin and fishing was more available than hunting; my hobby shifted heavy towards fishing. At the same time, my dad bought me the in-fisherman book on Walleye fishing and I was hooked on the "science of fishing". At that time a shift occurred…an epiphany of sorts…fishing became hunting. When that happened, I became obsessed. Since those days, there were no other sources of information that came close to what I heard and learned from in-fisherman….that is until now. Your videos are so detailed, complete and you use examples, illustrations etc covering so many types of water and situations its amazing to me. Keep up the good work and I bet your subscribers list is going to reach a tipping point of sorts and you will find yourself with many, many more subscribers than you have now which is impressive in itself.

I am finding that your videos are GREAT and VERY informative!! One of the questions that I have is on the areas that you are designating as 'shallow' (20ft in this case), why aren't the areas to the left of the 20ft area good areas? They are more shallow than 20ft.

Topo maps made before a man made lake was impounded always worth finding. Mapping with a modern sonar and getting 1 foot contours is the only thing better. A dam that was inundated by another dam is something I look for.

When it comes to bass fishing instructional videos, you are “hands down” the absolute most complete and best there is. WOW !! Where have you been ? I’m 73 years old and have never come acrossed anyone who is as well versed in bass fishing and is able to explain things as well as you. Well done young man, well done. You have a long term subscriber and one that will certainly tell all my bass fishing friends about you and you YouTube videos. Please keep up the GREAT work.

Great vid! Your defiantly going places with you still being young and having a lot of fishing knowledge. Fishing offshore is defiantly something that takes skill.
This was the best instructional vid for offshore I have watched but one thing that I wish was in it was how to set up on a school of fish after finding them.

My anxiety is much calmer now with summer getting here, many thanks, and you are a great teacher, not everyone has that gift. And it is a gift , don’t take it for granted

Love the ledge video… I feel like I need to hit Kentucky lake now. The ledge fishing Mecca. Thank you so much for answering the questions that we all thought we already mostly knew… But Didn't!

Great video. You seemed to have no problem catching fish ripping the flutter spoon off the bottom but another technique that I have found to work other than ripping it off the bottom is to crank the reel handle 3-4 times then stop and let it flutter back down. I experiment with both ways to see how the fish want it that day. Another good way to catch deep suspended bass is with a Magnum Fluke with a 7/0 or 8/0 hook weightless and just count it down to the fish and twitch it.
