I followed all the steps in order to get some Sturgeon roe, they have multiplied to 5 fish in the pond, it's been 18 days, and I haven't gotten any roe yet, what am I doing wrong? 🙁

The fish ponds make me so happy!! Not only can I keep the specific fish I always end up needing on hand (looking at you, salmon), it also fulfills my need to keep every animal as a pet

this may not be the most profitable on the surface, but time is money and this is certainly a time saver if you go through a lot of sea cucumbers, eels, catfish etc…. If you get this pond before befriending willy and you raise some catfish you can easily get a steady supply of gifts for him… the same goes with any other villagers that have loves for seafood dishes. Not having to spend whole days of time fishing for this stuff mean you can spend your time doing other things that are potentially more profitable!

I actually got the caviar needed for the quest from the traveling merchant long before I built a fish pond.

I have completed two of the quests for Sturgeons, but no roe!? Any idea why that might be?

When you fish in your fishing pond, you don't actually need to wait for the little bite noise. You will automatically catch fish!

Lava eel makes the pond lava, void salmon makes it a dark water, super cucumber makes it purple ( i think ) and slimejack makes it green

This is everything I’ve ever wanted from Stardew Valley, I might have to start a new save for the open space farm.
Nice catch with the Tiger Trout. They're a hybrid of Brook and Brown trout, fish from different genus so they cannot reproduce.

If you plant the new crop Rice that is available at spring up to 3 squares of soil it grows faster and does not need water nor sprinklers
