hey Flukemaster I wanted to know what you prefer when you make your own jigs, the regular rubber band or the wire like you use in the video and what wire do you use? a response would be really nice thank you?

What is the advantage of putting that piece of living rubber in with the silicone? Is it needed? I am looking at buying the Skirts Unlimited Jig Skirt Kit on TW, that kit only comes with silicone material. Should i buy some living rubber separate to use with the kit, or will i be fine without? Thanks for you time!

The only reason I don't pour my own weedless jigs is because I can't find a mold that works very well for the hooks that I like and nobody makes a Rocker Head mold. I do pour a lot of my sinkers and all my shakyheads though. I only use Do-it molds. IMO they are the best there is and you can't beat the price.

I get my from Cast Industries but you need a Tax ID number to keep from paying to much and you have to order them 100 of one size and color at a time. It's not very cost effective.

hello mulletman. It's been a while. You don't need an expensive vise for tying flys. The one in the video is a Terra Rotary Vise. You can get it from Bass Pro for about 45 bucks. As for supplies. I'm really not sure. I got most of my hair years ago. I bet you can find good deals on fly tying stuff on ebay though.

Hello Gene how are you? Have not talked to you in quite a while….have started building my own jigs with one exception….I like making hair jigs and I need your advice on a couple of issues….best vice to get for a moderate price and with price not an object what is the best rotary vice available that you personally like. Besides that I would like to know your recommendation on where to get my supplies at a reasonable price and keep the quality above average. Thanks
