I live in Santa Fe and fish the RIo,, however seeing that hike on video and seeing that hike up close is very different. It is tough, getting in is one thing, getting out, well that is another. I am now too old for it. BTW your at +7,000 ft. So if you are coming in from the low country, well there is no air. Good luck, it is fantastic! And coming up a couple of days early doesn't help. According to my Dr. takes about a year to acclimate.
