The beach of the town I grew up in has 100s if not more of those wholes in the sand. I used to think (as a kid) they’re just baby crabs in there but I guess they were clams :/ No one ever dug them out as we didn’t care. So I guess they are probably huge ones down there huh?
Please, do not eat these. The Pacific has been poisoned beyond repair by the Fukushima disaster. The amount of Radioactive caesium 137 and other by products of fission are at alarming levels throughout the Pacific, with hot spots in certain areas. The Government is hiding the true figures of measurements, because if known, it would cause mass panic. A simple walk along a West coast beach with a hand held Geiger counter will reveal levels up to 10 times normal, and in some hot spots, its actually dangerous for prolonged exposure. I won't even mention the amount being found in every species of fish found in the Pacific. Japan would be utterly bankrupted if made to fix the true extent of this disaster. Governments are definitely covering up, and down playing the true extent of contamination, for fear of triggering an economic collapse. Yet another example of money being considered more important than you or me.
I really really really fucking hope this guy is still alive 8 years after and knows the fact that he literally made people genuinely happy by just being happy himself. Literally an awesome fella
