Have tried the salt on my leftover minnows and used them two weeks later and had great results so now I salt all my left over bait for later . Thank you for info it has saved me a lot of money I now use on other fishing stuff . Both of you are great.
I would love a suggestion I n how to fish from the piers or a dike or beach with my daughter. She loves fishing unfortunately i don’t have time to take as often as i would like to “learn”. So i would like our trips to be more productive. Even if its catching something she small that you wouldn’t normally keep she would be happy. We dont own a boat so we usually fish from the shore or a structure. Oh you are so correct the stores are just so overwhelming. Thanks for your advice. Clarification I have fished all my life but i tend to go fishing not catching lol.
You and your family rock!! Going to Outer Banks next week for 7 days and have taken you advice on fishing multiple environments and cant wait to tell you how everything works out. I haven’t surf fished since i was a kid off Jersey shore. I’m soo pumped!!!
When I cast (line tied straight to a spinner bait for example)my line sometimes it twists around the tip of my pole. Will using swivels help reduce that? Or are swivels more for when you use leader line

Would you put a floater on that?
Palomar is a much easier knot for beginners and plenty strong for most applications.

you know oddly enough I've never actually seen you use a senko
I’m tying the loops on 12 pound mono. They keep breaking when I’m testing them. Not sure if I’m putting too my pressure.
