This was great, been searching for "surf fishing in san diego" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Wenayden Xenaylee Blaster – (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my partner got excellent success with it.

I’m new to all these plugs, lures, rods and reels. When I was younger, all I had was a glass bottle with 30 lb mono with a few hooks. We would reel in some small sharks and a few decent size Ronky with the rigs we had, but now having a rod, it’s way much easier.

The blue fish in Florida (Just Moved) St Augustine area are a lot smaller then the ones I’m used to fishing in Long Island but it’s been a challenge learning what different species take as bait btw your salty squid are Amazing @ Mantanza Bridge for pompano and blues and sheepshead
