I have become addicted to fly fishing. Here in Georgia it's pretty rare to see fly fishing. That said foam crickets kill bass here and not just small ones. I've also had great luck on streamers when I need to go deeper really hot or really cold.
Yet another thoroughly entertaining, and informative show. As I've mentioned before, I'm a novice and would love to fly fish for saltwater mullet, which come in abundance, in inches of water at certain places here in my hometown of Penarth, U.K. I guess they feed on stuff churned up by the waves, maybe plankton, or small sea lice, but having tried a number of methods, I've yet to catch one. Any ideas? Also if I'm the first questioner from the UK, could I please have a free cap etc.. to promote your wonderful service over here? Cheeky I know, but if you don't ask….. Many thanks. Ray
Help I bought some foam bodied dragonflies with hackles for wings. My question is how do I stop them from twisting my line? After 6 or so casts my leader will start to twist up on itself.
No real New Englander would eat at Red Lobster. These videos are priceless! Wish I had them 20 years ago. Would have saved me a lot of money and been more productive fishing. Well done, great series.
My first time out yesterday and caught my first fish on a fly. Since my medical discharge from the army almost 5 years ago I feel like I have found purpose and drive again I was actually happy and can't wait to go out again
