Thanks Brian. Just starting to come around to carp fishing. Trying to learn what it's all about and about some of the items commonly employed.

I got a couple Delkims year before last and just ordered a 3rd, along with some other gear. I am impressed with the quality and technology that the Delkims have, however one cannot deny that they are horrendously overpriced. Wouldn't be so bad if they threw in all the extra parts like the snag ears, and the hanger and clip, and a cover would be nice too. They charge exorbitant prices for every little thing. Talk about money hungry. It would only be made worse if they purposefully left out the screws needed to hold the thing together, and then charge for those too.

Do you know where can I find the stand? I've been looking everywhere. I order the alarms but I see that you have to screw then into a stand. I don't seem to find it anywhere

This video is to explain the bite alarm and their uses. We were all new anglers at some point and I figured going over the bite alarm would show the features and most importantly show the angler interested in carp fishing what a bite alarm is and why you would need one for carp fishing

Love all your videos Brian, learning a whole lot! Just getting into Euro carp fishing and purchased a pair of Delkim EV Plus Alarms. Wondering if I have a need for hangers and swingers and would love a video on those (especially for Delkim Alarms) because the whole subject has me confused as to what I need for the EV Plus alarms. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The line will clip into the bobbin and the bobbin will be in front of the alarm. When you clip in the mainline it will drop around 6 inches down. The weight of the bobbin will give your alarm more sensitivity and also give you a visual of a pull which it will raise or a dropback when it sinks. The drop back means the fish is swimming towards you and it is best to lift up and set the hook once you wind in until you feel weight. It doesn't sound stupid at all. We all learn somewhere.
