Just tuned into the channel a few days ago to start fly fishing where I live in the high country in Colorado, but just realized your shop is literally 15 minutes from where i grew up on Hard rd in Dublin. Right on! Will be supporting the shop. Thanks for being here and teaching!
started watching your channel yesterday. your content is brilliant thanks for the content. if i lived local i would use you but your a little out of my way. i live in scotland
Great list 👍. When I started fishing dries I wasn’t using floatant – I was so frustrated and totally oblivious to the importance of floatant – but I learned quickly
I'd already been smashing my barbs down for years, then one day I was REALLY glad I did. Fishing a small stream, freshly stocked, tons of bait and lure fisherman not getting a nibble. I come along with my #18 green mosquito and I'm catching 'em left and right, fishing the exact same water as these cats. Finally, one of them came over and wanted find out what was up. So cocky ass me, full of my success, I'm telling him how easy it really is, not to get all caught up in how the cats on TV(pre internet) make it look hard, blah blah blah. So as I'm coming forward with my cast a gust of wind comes up and I bury it in my cheek. Up to the shank. All I can say is thank goodness it was a small fly, and thank goodness the barb was gone. Even worse though, was the sheer embarrassment after all that you chuckers are so lame cockiness.
Great videos. Where I'm from in south carolina there are not alot of people that fly fish to get information from to learn first hand. There seems to be a lack of knowledge or people are just to lazy to learn that you can catch fish on more than just a baitcaster or spinning reel and it be just as or more exciting. I've already learned so much from this series of videos. Thanks for bridging that gap. Ready to get out there.
I like the no nonsense en friendly advice! Going for my first time flyfishing next week after 40 years of fishing with a spinning rod. It's going to be fun and really new. Hope I don't kill to many flies…..
Am new in fly fishing, I would like to see a video from you explaining how to tie flys, because you are so good explaining with detail, such a great video by the way!!!
Thanks for simplifying things. Jargon (like "strike indicator") is one thing that has put me off of fly fishing, just like many of the other things you've pointed out in this series. I would add nippers = clippers and hemostat = pliers.
Thank God this video exists, I'm going fly fishing for my first time and this is helping me alot. Hopefully it will be a fun experience. Thank you!
These videos are a pleasure to watch!

Flyagra 😂 love a good tongue in cheek from a company that sees the value in not taking life too seriously.
Really learning a lot about fly fishing something I've always wanted to do…. what is the most recommended rod for creek and stream fishing
Those glasses 6:10, 7:48, 9:14 👍 Nice series !
Could you use pliers instead of the hemostats?
is it possible to try fly fishing without a fly rod?

When I got stitches my doctor asked if I wanted to keep the scissors and thermostats for fishing instead of them just throwing them away.
Awesome series. Thank you.
sweet !
I love your videos man. You're simple and you dont gas people up and make them think that they need expensive gear to fly fish.
What movie reference was that?
Great series absolutely fantastic

Good to know. I am waiting to pick up a brand new fly fishing combo and know nothing about this sport but it looks like much fun’
Great video and very informative with some great humour
Or if your province says by law that your hooks must be barbless

Fly-agra: best thing created!
Thanks for my first lesson. you reminded me the last man standing . I hope I didn't mess the name of the show…,. Tim Allen ?
Where do I get those glasses/cheaters??
Flattened barbs make it easier to unhook a fish or a finger. Especially when fishing with a 9 year old.
Great series. Very helpful. Thanks
Cool still here
I love this series… If you want to be nice to the fish, just stay home! Brilliant…
Great. I am watching this video at work, and the warning on the FlyAggra bottle made me laugh out loud!
this series is fantastic
What rod and reel oufit for around $100 would you recommend for a beginner for trout and small bass?
G ad
Your videos are great! How about dipping a yarn strike indicator in Flyagra? I am, however, tired of the kinks in my leader…
