Note: If you catch a gold fish doesn't mean it will be a Prized fish. A Prized fish is a fish that's much larger than a the big size listed on that fish. Example: A Mecha Shark's Small size is 20-200 cm, Big Size is 400 cm or bigger. The prized Mecha Shark I caught is 1361 cm

Hey idk if there's a guide out there on youtube on how to progress from normal dungeons into hard dungeons but the few newbies i encountered didn't know they needed to buy their first purple weapon through the black market if they have the gold otherwise they'll be stuck doing dungeons with bots or solo. That alone might turn people away from this game.

kind of an unrelated question, is Battle Mage actually a good class to main? i really like this class and i hope it's still strong enough to compete with other classes like Lumi or DS

04:02 when you were talking about the rank of the fish, it's not the rank you have to be to catch it. it's just a rank that tells how hard it will be to catch the fish. i.e. exceptional fish are gonna appear less often than normal fish.

    Littered with incorrect info. http://forums.maplestory2.nexon.net/discussion/33332/fishing-guide
Fish at current tier maps only to catch the corresponding fishes, otherwise go back to lower tiers maps for higher success rate. IMHO use the endless supply of vouchers from events and find Lith Harbor (or Tria) fishing parties to level up when you feel burned out. With the +5% bonus to catch prize fishes, you gain a good amount of exp from catching prized fishes.
Theres some other things i can argue about but that would be nitpicking and too much on my end.

I have no idea what triggers the fish to give you mastery.. size doesn't matter, how many you catch doesn't matter, it seems completely random to me :c
I like fishing though, it's actually kinda fun and relaxing!
