I love your videos, but as a musician, it would be nice if youd credit your music. You list all other personnel and equipment? Thanks for making the kind of videos that make me late for work in the mornings!!

You know, all ya clowns, you can have your deserts, your Vegas's, your Mexico's, your polluted tainted water…..whatever, I'm keepin' my BC Salmon, my super clean cold water and my majestic Rainbow Trout fly-fishin'. Just go sweat it out down south, there's nothin' up here for ya in BC. lol

Jet boats/sleds destroy redds by scouring the river bottom with their jet wash. Eggs are washed from their gravel beds and ejected into the stream flow to be eaten by other fish. Or sometimes the eggs are buried further with the disturbed gravel and sediments thus smothering and killing them. Redd surveys have shown that spawning fish are not always limited to the upper tributaries but often use the middle river to build their redds. This is not a new issue and has been banded about for more than a decade in B.C. and Washington state. Guides, lodges, resorts, individuals still using sleds are being irresponsible and selfish in their use. Consumers using their services are condoning this behavior and are likewise irresponsible and selfish. This is not conservation as all give lip service to but rather greed, both personal and professional. Pathetic bunch of two-faced hypocrites, many of whom carry a conservationist flag yet know about the issue and have decided to ignore it for their gain.

If you must have your sled, then leave it in the lower river where it will do little harm to the fisheries.

Adrienne is a certified badass for landing a fish like that in that deep and fast of water.. anyone that wades big rivers knows one slip or loss of balance can get really scary real quick. Amazing. Just chopper in to one of the nicest untouched systems in the world to hammer those unreal fish on the fly.. almost get depressed watching this.. unbelievable stuff.

Excellent video!! I live in Ireland and have fished lots of the best known rivers in British Columbia over the years including the Skeena just a few months ago, we intend going back as often as possible.
The advice you gave is so accurate, those fish will find weaknesses in you, your rod, reel, lines or hooks!! I got spooled by a nice Steelhead in Terrace and had to jump into the river to recover my line.
Off to Florida soon to fish for Tarpon then back to NY in October for the Chinook runs from lake Ontario!! Who said fishing was easy???
