That was awesome. Last night I criticized you for your lime/lemon juicing technique, this was great though. No criticism. My grandfather was an avid bone fisherman and would be proud. Love the channel

I know she hasn't fly fished before but it almost seems like she's never even conventional fished before.
Kudos on catching some bones but I wish the guide would've given you some proper advice that could really help you in the future. You were doing so many things wrong that could be improved on.

I would have assumed one would know how to cast and know what to do when a fish is on before going out to fish for bonefish, but looking like Darcie she can get away with it and even catches one.

Again, not teaching you how to double haul, Captain Charlie says "you are always learning," but how can you learn if they don't teach you? Plus double hauling teaches you how to strip set. You would have hooked your first 2 bones better if you were taught.

I wish you would show less skin. my wife does not believe me when I say I am watching for fishing knowledge. But 35 yrs ago I would , let's be nice. great videos.

Question for anyone who can help. My fiancé and I are heading back to the Bahamas in a couple of months and plan on doing some bone fishing. Wasn't until today that I figured out we would need to be fly fishing. In doing so, do we need a specific type of rod? Reason I ask is because we planned on buying a telescoping rod. This one to be exact. Would it not work for this type of fishing? Thanks. https://smile.amazon.com/PLUSINNO-Spinning-Telescopic-Saltwater-Freshwater/dp/B01DPFEP16/ref=s9_simh_gw_g200_i1_r?_encoding=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=YDR7YEC0CT85GKVFCW7H&pf_rd_r=YDR7YEC0CT85GKVFCW7H&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=1cded295-23b4-40b1-8da6-7c1c9eb81d33&pf_rd_p=1cded295-23b4-40b1-8da6-7c1c9eb81d33&pf_rd_i=desktop

You did great for a first time fly Fisher!! It's very different than spinning gear, you're actually throwing the line not the lure which is hard to get used to. I'll bet you'll try fly fishing more now, once you try it you're hooked! No pun intended…… great job, keep catching!
