Before they built the new bridge I would sit under the old bridge and catch bass and white bass all day, they would school all day chasing shad. there are always fish around the docks on the lake, might try swimming the jig. Send me an email or call me if you'd like to schedule a day on the water when I can REALLY teach you some techniques that will help you catch more fish.
i just got a boat and im having a hard time catching any bass at lake wylie in the summer. any advice? my go to bait is a 3/8 jig. are docks good here in the summer? thanks
i fish lake wylie all the time i love fishing buster boyd bridge you prob remenber my dad bryan tate he has fished against you a couple of times we see you all the time on guides lol love fishing swim baits under that bridge when the bass start schooling you can look down the columbs and see all of it just start white caping i love it

no, its definitely not like that all the time. i was keeping ht ebait near the surface as the bass were chasing the bait at the surface.
is it like that all the time or just when they are schooling in there. and how deep r u swimming that bait.

this was filmed last July on Lake Wylie, SC/NC. Site of the 2004 Bassmasters Classic, Aaron Martens almost won the thing fishing under this bridge.
