It would help if you told us what material you are using for the body. Also, why the fly is called the "guide's choice" hare's ear. Nice looking fly, but, as somebody else posted, you would get a fuller, more durable thorax if you used several strands of peacock and wound them around your tying thread. I doubt you will reply, but somebody else watching this might benefit from this tip.
i have been fly tying for a while and have seen a common mistake with the peacock herl. you can wind the peacock on to your thread to make it stronger . And it also it keeps it from unwrapping. just letting you know what i think you could work on. Love your video's and have a good day 🙂
