you can also use a fishfinder that has a clasp or billfish swivel on your dropper loop , as the tide changes you can just change weighst easily also . and those sail cats are great eating , also  if you have a fish on and grab the  hook with pliers right at the arc of the hook and make the eyelet down and  just wiggle the fish the  gravity of the  fish usually tends to drop it off the  hook with  little to no mess , or  you can  make a longer  rod with  circle  at the  end and  just  wiggle  the  hook and  the fish will usually plop off .

its a gafftop cat… they have a bad blood line on the filet.. but if you cut it out and eat the white part of the filet its actually pretty good and they do fight well..

Usually here in Australia, catfish are a big pest, and usually when those things show up its a good sign that your fishing session is going to get ruined because they chase away the good fish, also the catfish we normally get here are more eel-like, just an FYI

That was wrong..you don't take your woman's rod just cuz she's got a bigger fish, lol. You make them bring in that big fish so they have the satisfaction of saying they caught the big one! Fisherman etiquette!!
