1. Take 200ml water put Tamarindus indica with salt 2. Put your whiting in the bowl 5 minutes 3. Fried the whiting till the color turn in to brown gold.

You know what's really cool about that algae? At night go grab a bunch of the live stuff from the water and squeeze it in your hands. Blue bioluminesent light will shoot all over it. It's really amazing to see.
Do a lot of surf casting here in NZ , have up-sized my rig to 5/0 wide gap hooks. Think you should try that but will probably need to up-size your rods too. Catch all sorts of stuff from pan snapper up to 8 lb right up to school sharks 3 -4 m . 5/0 & have some reel fun

Whiting is excellent fried in extra light olive oil and a simply floured. Fresh, clean white flesh.
