I eat trash fish and let my sport fish go. However most fish I eat are the ones I deep hook I hatte throwing a hurt fish back.

You cant use live fish as bait though because it just rips the baitfish out of the water when it swims around
So if you want to gut hook everything use this pole. a lot of states have banned auto fishing methods because of this.
