Nice video mate. Meeting and upping the quality expectation as always. While I love the fancy drone footage, I miss your cap cam stuff, it was reassuring to know that even the best filmmakers have to live with a camera on their noggin 🙂 Keep pushing the boundaries mate, cheers, Craig.
Love your videos Andrew. Sadly don't get much fishing done since I moved up to Auckland from Hamilton . Watching your videos is an escape and therapy for me, to get my mind away from work etc. I just never get bored watching them time after time, over and over again! Keep them coming buddy. Hopefully 1 day I can bump into you fishing somewhere.. . do you still have the S4s 6wt or have you sold it.
Look mate. There's something you boyz just don't understand about this and it has to be said – I am jealous enough already about your fishing jollies without you posting superb bloody videos like this!! PS I am now expecting your next vid to be even better so I will just have to continue to watch them I suppose……it's a hard life.
Hey Andrew! Great footage! love the shot with the clouds 😀 I wish I was able to film that many takes with the drone, but most of the time the mavic is on the ground when someone (finally:P) hooks up. Well done! 🙂 Cheers Tom
Wow, great! What a beautiful area! I love New Zealand and i hope, that i can visit this country once time at my life. Thight lines and greeting from Austria Klaus
This does raise the question whether camera drones should only be used cinematically as documentary tools or whether, ostensibly to make filming easier, they might also be used to locate fish. In the first instance it is clear that camera drones can provide spectacular footage for the audience viewer, in the second provide an underhand advantage to the unscrupulous angler. The main problem, as I see it, is the line between the two can easily be rationalized away, blurred and erased, and then it's not really about the kind of fishing I love and respect at all.
good video, it's a beautiful river
So good mate keep it up
Cool stuff mate…..gets the juices flowing for sure!
Another amazing video…
Should be called Dan's greatest strikes!
