Not sure when Jagex updated this activity, but now you can drop the fish by holding down a button on the action bar. It's the same when you salmon and trout in Barbarian Village.

You should have a granite lobster. Maximum xp is achieved using sign of porters with less urns, it's also very afk. I found myself getting ~110k/hr. Unless you drop properly (which you were not) you waste ticks.Â

Now you don't even need mousekeys, drop is the default.

never done barbarian fishing apart from task requirements good vid though 🙂
Great guide, it's nice to have a little change of scenery from fly fishing and C2 fishing every now and then.
My mouse keys only open the first menu where it has the option to drop the fish and holding + doesnt keep pressing or acting as a click :c
nice guide. to make an afk method of barb fishing you can do this but use sign of the porters =) thats what i did to get me to 90 that and fish flings
