You can run from these battles! Ive gotten 3 shinies and ive ran from all of the battles. You should just either knock out your suction cups pokemon or else give em a smoke ball.
My Luvdisc showed up at 48 but that was only cause it's only one to be caught with Old Rod but every time I use Good/Super my longest chain is 2-3 4 IF I'm lucky, any specificsw to keep the chain going? Timing, Etc;
You do not have to kill it! You can run from the battle to save time and effort. I have seen about 10 vids showin people that run from the battle and they all gt shinies at around a chain of 50. I have not done it myself but I have seen others complete the task! YOU DON'T NEED TO FIGHT YOU CAN RUN IT WORKS TOO!!!;)

You can go to a place where rocks are surrounding so there's a better chance of a bite with old/good rod

Yes you can get octillery, and you can also run from the pokemon and stiil keep your chain 🙂

Tried for 6 hours. I got up to 140 without breaking. No dice. 2nd time got up to 68.. still nothing. Does not work for me.
