Chris these are really solid videos. Guides WANT clients to catch fish. ML is a great fishery, but you are only going to get so many opportunities. Poor, inefficient technique with either fly/spin will cost you fish. When frustration levels rise, along with insecurities, "performance/expectation gaps," excuses, heat, fatigue, etc.the guide can only do so much. The reality is that to be proficient on the flats spin/fly you need to avoid to the degree possible the highest % mistakes. &Practice!
Chances of getting a bite are at least that if you make a perfect cast and presentation. With our fish it is all about speed and accuracy. a cast 5 feet away will never get a bite.
