What is the private vs public land ownership like? Sucks to watch these videos only to find out you have to go to some yuppy swanky "resort" to fish! psh…give me forest service or other public land where I can be left alone! 🙂
nice "slingshot" casting technique! I perfected that technique as a child fishing northern michigan rivers and creeks using a 13.5 foot telescoping graphite 3 piece "cane pole" with a single eyelet. now LANDING a 15 inch brown trout when the tip of your rod is basically in the center of a tag alder brush pile is a whole other story! great video! keep em coming! fish on!
When is the best time to visit Deschutes River? Ive been there when some Salmoflies were to seen, but I was never close enough to catch any big steelheads. And can anyone pin point the location where this is shot or what parts of the river are best? Email me if possible with pics or anything. Going back to US soon again…:) Email: emirjaskic@gmail.com
Amazing video. I've been lucky enough to fish this hatch on the Deschutes a couple of times but you make me want to get back. You got the brawn and beauty of the redsides.
I always love Todd Moen's fly fishing films. Spectacular scenery and careful fish handling
This is one of my favorites!!! Love those bow and arrow casts and all those salmon flies!!! New sub!
very good

Some seriously long casts @4:19, nice.
That's home! The salmon flies get so prolific that the trout turn off from being over full.
