The spinner spins freely and doesn’t cause any twisting on your line. Been using those for years on an ugly stik with a $20 Shakespeare spinning real from back in the 90’s. Those two have never failed me. And the Panther Martin also.
I wouldn’t recommend spinners with treble hooks majority of the time they end up killing the fish decimating wild trout populations I’d stick with so hooks and know how to handle trout and never eat a wild one

Use flourocarbon instead of mono

I just put a snap swivel straight on the spinner. Hooked a 25+ inch rainbow on it, and ive caught probably a hundred so you cant say it doesnt work

P/M are great spinners, better than Mepps.
When the current is fast and fly is a bit hard. The little spinner rod and pather martin or feather spinners work well.
Does panther martin sell single hooks? Right now im using barbless treble on a mepps but would rather use single

I've only ever caught trout on little spinners. Tried and true, we used to hit creeks all over, and slay them

I just clip by barrel swivel directly to my rooster tail. Catches basically anything.
