dude it's not only in Florida even in Alexandria Egypt .. the buffer fish numbers are disastrous they snipp off the native Mediterranean fish in half like sea bass and sargo and even sheep head . and unfortunately now the live shrimp is not effective that we have to cut it in half .. that decreases the quality of the bait

Hi, I'm from Puerto Rico and I like your fishing videos. Here we use the squid as bait, it lasts a lot on the hook. I buy the raw squid, cut it into strips and put it in a container adding a lot of salt and leave it for more than a week. This makes the squid more consistent and lasts longer on the hook.

Aweslme video but the reason that keeps happening is cause your hooking them wrong as you can tell fishes don’t like the head so if you hook it from the head they are gonna take the tail off your supposed to hook them from the tail so that when the fish goes for the tail it gets the hook in it’s mouth and take this from me I’m 15 and I’m an experienced fisherman from Florida I started fishing when I was 5 so you should do what I said

I love your videos, especially the underwater footage. That camera cage looks like it could get hung up in some structure though…. Next time you are in Florida, I'd love to do a real challenge with you. I'll use shrimp and you use the clams. I think the challenge would be more unbiased. Honestly, I'm confident that the shrimp would win.

I grew up fishing with mud prawns. We would only use half at a time and tie them on the hook with elastic string. Clam sits much better in a hook and in rough water can again be secured with elastic string. These days I use Quahog clams for flounder fishing (squid when the water is too cold to go clam digging).

Salt clams are more durable but not every saltwater fish eats salt clams however Literally almost every saltwater fish in Florida will eat a shrimp. Snook, drum, jacks, grouper, pinfish, pigfish, trout, pompano, whiting, flounder, mackerel, even bass in brackish water etc. (PS the fish is a grunt)
