I wouldn't go so far as to call it complete rubbish tho, might want to retract that he's obviously pretty good, but I agree it is not awe inspiring and the flute music is way over the top… lol

But you're using a lot of top hand push. In underhand casting the upper hand is nothing but a fulcrum. Just an observation. Goran explaining it himself. Youtube. v=xnc40QQKiVo It seems the North American style is to use a more traditional top handed style with an underhand style rod.

Hi Mike. My first and favorite rod is the Meiser 8/9wt. 15' Clearwater. Now that I have had for a number of years, it has become like a part of me. I want it to be buried with me. I love Meisers. Bob is the spey rod Yoda.

You obviously are not a two hand fisherman. Mike is to say the least…. well known. I notice that you have no videos. If you are such an expert as to give advice to the likes of Mr. Kinney, show us your video or keep your ill informed nonsense to yourself.

@bill7920 Hi Bill that rod is the 13i/2 7-8 Meiser MKS actually My body speed and style are very similar with almost all types of lines, just different stroke lengths. I am not scheduled for anything out there but you never know. MK

Mike, What length rod are you fishing with in this vid? I'm trying to learn as much as I can about skagit style as I think it fits well in the GL region. With a Skagit head your body english seems a bit slower than it would be with more traditional spey gear. Will you be doing any of the Spey Claves or Gatherings out here in the Midwest anytime soon?

Hi bert I would like to help but I have never cast that particular rod it is not one of my designs..That being said the designation is for a Scandi line that means that it was designed to cast off the tip which might be 100 grains lighter.I would contact Tfo directly for recomendations. MK
