In this video I was using an Okuma 40S spinning reel. I still bring this reel along with my 3 piece TFO spinning rod on all of my Rockport Texas fishing trips. I'll be posting some pics of our last trip. We stayed at the Tortuga Club on our last fishing trip.
@searchenginepro me too 🙂 I need a medium action 1 piece spinning rod for fresh water. I really like the 3 piece rod for traveling as I can cary it onto the plane with no problems.
@FranksTube86 You'll be happy with it. I just got to see some more 2012 rods. Gary Loomis just keeps making an awesome rod even better while keeping prices down.
Just got a new Gary Loomis 6.9 ft. medium action bait casting rod – It's awesome. Looking to add a bunch more Gary Loomis fishing rods to my collection this year.
Whats the lb. rating in this rod?
that rod belongs in a pond
