what are the prices of dawn lake light essence? on my server it is profitable to afk fish and a really fast way to level it. if the dawns dont sell the you might be able to turn them into blank regrade scrolls.
Also, there's three different sizes and different kinds of fish depending on where you go. The sizes, smallest to largest: fry, medium, gargantuan. When you go fishing in the ocean, there's a few different fish. (Least to most profitable) Pufferfish, bluefin tuna, sturgein, sailfish, blue marlin, sunfish. The sunfish is the rarest, and its always 100g (unless they changed it, which I doubt). A gargantuan marlin can be 30-40g a piece, it's great.
Here's a tip I learned from some guildies: Right when the buff is about to hit 0 seconds, big reel. That way there's no delay and it does the full amount of damage. ^^ It's really helpful and can make a big difference! Also, AFK basic fishing (while shopping, at work, sleeping, etc) can really help boost you proficiency (make sure oh have plenty of worms and space in inventory). It may seem to take forever now but once your prof gets higher it's great. I'm at 70k or so, one big reel knocks half the health off of a medium fish with an archeum rod.
I have the same obsession for fishing in MMOs. I can't even imagine how many hours I've spent fishing in Rift and WoW over the years. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm downloading ArcheAge now (again).
That's gona be usefull when the fresh server start! 😀 Do you have some basic giudes on character builds the best/fun for pve/pvp? I think I am gona make battle/shadow/"music"[?], last time i had b/s/witch and it was fun to solo dungs :D

you can also get the lures from your character page. push c, then click the little basket across from the badges. then you can buy while out fishing

its really sad that there is still a massive bug in the fishing part of the game…and there kinda doing nothing about it, But over all good video bud!
better fishing rod = mroe dmg towards the fish so it's worth having a better rod to reduce the time :P

Is Archeage still empty anymore? This was the one MMO i truly enjoyed and i want a reason to play again
